Dynamic Alternating Pressure Relief to Address Pressure
Therapeutic results of alternating pressure are achieved by deflating the air cells, as much as possible, away from the patient's skin. SenTech's 2000 and 3000 systems fully eliminate the air pressure during the deflation cycle to provide maximum differentiation between the inflated and deflated cells.
True Low Air Loss to Address Moisture and Heat
SenTech's patented low air loss provides a light and diffused air flow directly to the patient's skin through thousands of microscopic holes in the top coverlet.
Compare SenTech's unique low air loss technology with what is offered by other companies. With other systems, air escapes through either the air cells or the sides of the mattress, never reaching the patient. Only SenTech's 2000 and 3000 systems offer truly therapeutic low air loss.
Flexible Air Flotation to Address Pressure and Comfort
SenTech's air flotation mode provides an even level of static air to redistribute pressure and provide interface pressures far below that of standard mattresses. The flotation mode of the Stage IV 2000 and 3000 can be customized for each patient depending on the patient's weight and height and the level of firmness or softness desired.
Maximum Shear Relief to Address Shear and Friction
The Stage IV 2000 and 3000 systems incorporate the ideal material in their patented coverlet to address shear and friction as well as moisture and heat. The quilted, breathable, five-layer design is impermeable to water, yet permeable to vapor molecules (sweat). The friction coefficient between the patient's skin and mattress, utilizing the 2000 or 3000 top cover, has been demonstrated to be the #1 anti-shear surface.
